Step by step Guide on setting up TLAs

  • TLAs are essentially sponsored posts from a personal profile. These don't have to be your profile. And you can even sponsor posts from people that are not linked to your company page (think influencers, thought leaders, customers etc)

  • Set up the campaign in Campaign Manager using Awareness or Engagement as the Objectives. We advise to bring bids down considerably (and always use Manual Bidding).

  • When you get to creating your ads select "Browse existing content". This is where you should be able to see people's posts.

  • Finally, you will need permission from this person to post. This is then sent by email to this person. Make sure they check the email linked to their linkedin account (which often is their private address).

  • Posts need to have recent engagement. Meaning during the last 2 months (perhaps longer but this is what we know so far) and have a like, comment, repost etc.
